Photo and Video Contest
Event Overview
To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of our Association, we warmly invite members and the community to participate in the “Moments with New Home” Photo and Video Contest. We encourage both members and the public to reflect on meaningful memories and share the growth and changes that our Association has brought to its members and the community!
Whether it’s a moment from participating in our programmes, a story about how our services made a difference, or a change experienced by you or your family because of our Association, we welcome you to share your story through photos or short videos to celebrate this special milestone together.
How to Participate
Entry Period: From now until 21 June 2025
Submission Method: Please contact any of our service centres for details.
Winner Announcement: 4 July 2025 (results will be announced at service centres and our website)
Submission Rules
Content Requirements:
Each participant must submit at least two photos or a video no longer than 2 minutes, related to our Association, highlighting the differences between one or two of the following themes:
Passage of Time: Reflects personal or family growth and change over time.
Connection through Service: Highlights your interaction with our Association or your experience participating in our activities.
Impact and Change: Shows how our Association has brought growth or support to you or your community.
Notes:
The main subjects of the photos/videos must be the participant and/or their family members.
Each participant and their family may submit multiple entries, but only one award will be given per participant or family.
Submission Specifications
All entries must be original content created by the participant or their family.
Entries must clearly depict a main subject or focus. Group photos or documentary-style footage without a focal point may not be accepted.
Photos can be submitted in either digital or printed format:
Digital: Minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, file size above 500KB is recommended.
Printed: Must be printed on photo paper, no smaller than 4R (102 × 152 mm).
Digitally scanned or photographed versions of old photos will be evaluated based on clarity.
Videos must be submitted in MP4 format, with an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 9:16, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a file size not exceeding 100MB.
Notes: If compressed versions of media are submitted, please retain the original high-resolution files, as winners may be required to submit these for promotional purposes.
Assessment Criteria
Submissions will be assessed based on the following criteria. The entries with the highest scores will be selected as winners and announced through our service centres.
Sense of Time and Contrast: Shows changes in environment, people, or background, demonstrating the passage of time.
Personal Growth and Impact: Illustrates how participation in our activities has contributed to personal growth in areas such as academics, career, life adaptation, or social skills.
Inclusion of New Home Association Elements: Features activities, logos, our centre / staff, or other identifiable elements related to our Association.
Community Engagement and Influence: Reflects our Association’s positive impact on local communities or social groups.
Storytelling and Emotional Connection: Includes a short-written description (100–200 words) to help convey the story and emotional significance of the entry.
